creamtrumpet Sonically expansive, yet introspective and focused. The emotional weight of the album's subject matter can be felt throughout, but there's room for some sonic levity, most notably on Last Chance. Shades of 70s synth and Eno-style atmospherics are added to the Warp Record stylings of his earlier works, wrapping you up like a comfort blanket on more delicate tracks, such as the touching All We Can Do Now Is Wait. The Jazz-infused Ginsberg, and reworked Ohya, are the other highlights for me. Favorite track: Ohya.
